I've been going there on average once a week for the past year. There is a reason... their food is great! I love the Pad Thai Chicken, and the Hot n Sour soup is very good.
They are open for lunch crowds only. They are a small food truck, family owned business. There is one very long picnic table or 4-6 smaller 4-person round tables with umbrellas. You can eat there or get it to go.

Not sure if worth the walk but I am glad I tried it. I tried the pad Thai with chicken and it was a little too citrusy for my taste. I'm not sure if I should have gotten it spicy or spicier but it was just ok. The cucumber salad was overly sweet and too much. Maybe I'll try something else they offer next time :)

Sorry guys, been cookin Thai from scratch for years and have traversed all of southern Thailand.
I know its not going to be authentic thai. Still, what I had was in fact the worst thai I've ever had.
Thai people are the world leaders in the culinary arts, every day there is a food festival, their demure, unpretentious food carts should, and I'm sure does, command respect by other seasoned chefs around the globe by sheer brilliance and wonder of the result of the dish when you consider what they have to work with.
But even here in America we have access to similar spices. So I have little patience when I taste a dish so expensive and so bland and sloppily put together, esp when they claim it's what a "thai mom would make".
It was $17 for some terrible "curry" and some old tasting mango sticky rice. I just can't with this place, I mean its the definition of tourist trap. -

My first two choices--Tataya and Coat & Thai--were both closed today, so I checked out My Thai Mom for the first time. It's super close to my office, so I was looking forward to having a new favorite. Simply put, the food was awful. The Pad Thai was mushy and had little seasoning. My coworker said his Green Curry Fried Rice was dry and the chili was powder and gritty. I wouldn't return here if it was the only Thai place open in all of Austin. Two stars for friendly service and decent pricing.

Second time trying them, first time was so-so as the hot and sour soup was a miss (to salty). Third time they had the pineapple chicken rice and bn I went with the salad and it was magic. I would just this everytime if I could but the menu changes from day to day. Can't wait to try it again and test the whole menu out
